The Operations & Maintenance Assessment is a three-year assessment to cover costs for ongoing operations and maintenance of the legal lake level, including required inspections of the lake level control structure. This assessment will appear as a line item on your winter tax bill along with the Establishment & Compliance Assessment.


The Establishment & Compliance Assessment is a one-year assessment to cover costs for updating the lake level order in circuit court and establishing boundaries of a special assessment district. View the Establishment & Compliance documents.



Assessment rolls were updated on 4/16/26 prior to the public hearing. Following the mailing, property owners submitted additional information. Based on the information received, engineers recommended changes to assessment factors for certain parcels which impacted assessment amounts for all parcels. The assessment rolls above show proposed assessments that are slightly different than those included in the mailed notices and posted online or in-person.


The assessment roll is subject to change. The board of commissioners will review and motion to approve on April 24, 2026.
